Privacy is the core of the JerkFriends experience. This policy explains what little we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

What we collect

• Matching answers. Your quiz answers (gender, preferences) are used to match you and are not linked to your identity.
• Email address (optional). If you choose to leave your email, we use it to notify you about matches and site updates. You can skip this step entirely and still use the Service.
• Usage data. Standard technical data such as approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and anonymous click identifiers used for affiliate tracking.

What we never collect

• Your name, photo, or social profiles: we never ask.
• Camera or microphone data. Your camera activates only if you explicitly enable it in your browser, the video stays on your device, and we never record, store, or transmit it to our servers.
• Payment information. Any purchases happen on partner platforms; we never see your payment details.

How we use data

• To match you with performers who fit your preferences;
• To send match notifications if you opted in with your email (unsubscribe any time with one click);
• To measure which parts of the Service work well, using aggregated statistics;
• To credit referrals to partner platforms through anonymous click identifiers.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. When you click through to a partner platform, that platform receives an anonymous click identifier so referrals can be credited; it does not include your email or identity. Partner platforms have their own privacy policies that apply once you are on their sites.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as theme), keep the funnel working, and support affiliate attribution. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; the Service will still work.

Data retention and deletion

Emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Usage data is retained in aggregate form. To request deletion of your data, contact us and we will honor the request within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

Age restriction

The Service is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the Service, please contact us immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
